Serena Spa was founded in October 2020, when Riechert Mulder and Clemens Kardol saw an opportunity in the market. They took over a production line from Belgium with the ambition to produce high-quality spas and have control over quality and service themselves. It wasn’t an entirely new concept, but an improvement: a fully Dutch product, focusing on customization and innovation. Serena Spa is located in Harderwijk, in the heart of the Veluwe. This means that the company operates with a down-to-earth Veluwe mentality: no frills, just quality and craftsmanship.
The name Serena Spa was carefully chosen and reflects the essence of the brand. Serena is derived from the word serene and stands for peace and relaxation. SPA refers to the Latin expression Sanus Per Aquam or Sanitas Per Aqua, which means health through water. Together, these words form the core values of Serena Spa: relaxation, luxury, and well-being.
From the beginning, it was clear that real quality and craftsmanship come not only through own expertise but also through strong collaborations. Over the years, Serena Spa has built a valuable network with contractors, gardeners, and landscape architects. Together, they have provided numerous customers with total solutions that seamlessly align with their wishes and the design of their garden. Thanks to these joint efforts, Serena Spa now has about 400 spas in the field under its own name!

Geralf is onze technische alleskunner. Hij bouwt spa’s, stuurt de fabriek aan en voert service uit met oog voor detail. Als eerste aanspreekpunt voor techniek weet hij elke uitdaging om te zetten in een oplossing. Maar Geralf is meer dan een techneut: met zijn sociale karakter springt hij moeiteloos bij in de verkoop en is hij voor collega’s én klanten een vertrouwd gezicht.

Met zijn technische expertise en oog voor detail zorgt hij ervoor dat elke spa perfect wordt gebouwd en gecontroleerd. Van de kuip en techniek tot de ombouw en oplevering – hij kent elke stap van het proces. Betrouwbaar, nauwkeurig en met jarenlange ervaring een echte vakman.

Met zijn vakmanschap en oog voor detail bouwt hij de solide basis van elke spa. Van het frame en de isolatie tot de omkasting – hij zorgt ervoor dat techniek en esthetiek perfect samenkomen. Opgegroeid met houtbewerking, brengt hij zijn expertise tot in de kleinste details tot leven.
